Swansea West Conservatives have selected their candidate for next year’s Welsh National Assembly elections. Craig Lawton was selected by members of Swansea West Conservative Association on Tuesday 25 August to fight next May’s election.

Campaigners in Mayals have welcomed the new bus route that will take in one of the steepest and longest walks in Mayals.

Residents in and around Mayals will have another chance to meet Emma Lane, the Conservatives' prospective MP for Swansea West. Mrs Lane is hosting a joint surgery with the local councillor for Mayals, Cllr Linda Tyler-Lloyd, this Friday (6 March 2015).

Cllr delighted with Llwynderw path progress

After a short wait, access to the promenade is complete in one area of Mayals. Cllr Linda Tyler-Lloyd recently stopped by the path at Llwynderw which she has been working for and was pleased to see that the job is almost done. Since then it has been fully completed.

Swansea Labour's Council Tax Rise

Swansea’s Labour-led council increased council tax by 3.5% in their first year and this was followed by a 5% increase, making it the highest increase of any local authority in Wales.In comparison, Conservative led councils across the UK are making sure council tax has been frozen.
